Barone Traditional/Contemporary Soprano Mouthpiece
This woodwind is no longer for sale (sold on 2009-12-10)
Price : US $243.50
Phil Barone Traditional/Contemporary metal soprano saxophone mouthpiece. Facing is ''.070'' engraved on left shank, ''U.S.A.'' engraved on left side, ''Phil Barone New York, NY'' engraved on top, ''Made with pride November 4, 1998'' engraved on right side, TC04 engraved on right shank. There is ligature wear on the lacquer (I used a metal lig) and some slight cosmetic lacquer wear on the facing (usually left the reed on mouthpiece) that does not affect the facing. Bite plate has only slight tooth wear which you can only see when holding it at an angle. The marks in the bite plate in the photos are tiny bubbles in the material which were always there.
Here is the description from Phil's site:
''The Traditional Contemporary soprano model is similar to the Contemporary but has a lower baffle. It is very responsive, has a very warm sound, and produces plenty of volume. It is recommended for pop and jazz music and is used by Ernie Watts''.
Buyer pays shipping via USPS Priority Mail in the US and USPS Air Mail overseas. Please email any questions. Good luck!
